A solid core of reliable and adaptable fighters who can fire while advancing or holding ground is a valuable tool for any tactician. In the case of intervention forces supported by Primaris battle-brothers, this role falls to Intercessor squads. Capable of providing constant cross-fire support, these squads form the all-purpose backbone of newly formed Primaris Chapters – and, as is only fitting, long-standing Chapters have already put their abilities to good use, alongside Tactical Squads.
This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble a set of 10 Primaris Intercessors. Clad in Mk X Tacticus power armor with good protection and proven mobility, they are reliable and adaptable warriors armed with bolt rifles. These come in 3 variants – the standard bolt rifle with curved magazine, the automatic bolt rifle with box magazine and supercharger, or the Stalker bolt rifle with straight magazine and long-range optic. There are 16 right shoulder pads bearing Intercessor iconography – enough for all arm variants, including 2 with open radio panels, 2 signaling the squad to halt, 2 holding combat knives, and 2 firing bolt pistols. There are a total of 24 different heads in this kit, both naked and helmeted.
The models can be built in a squad of 10, including 9 Intercessors and a Sergeant, or in 2 separate squads of 5, each with its own Sergeant. The latter have different heads, with their helmets attached to their belts by magnetic latches, and patches to help differentiate them.
In keeping with their versatility in the field, Intercessors are equipped with a rich array of ornamentation – 12 pistol holsters (2 empty for Intercessors holding them), 10 ammo and grenade pouches, 6 combat knife scabbards (4 empty), 4 individual grenade pouches, and 4 bolt pistol ammo pouches.
Primaris Intercessors are supplied as 266 components, plus 10 Citadel 32mm Round bases and a transfer sheet.
